Certifications
ISO 9001 – Quality Management
Both certifications were granted by the International Institution BSI and currently in force in the version ISO 9001 -2015.
ICONTEC
The Icontec (Colombian Institute of Technical Standards and Certification) is a private non-profit organization in Colombia that oversees compliance with national and international standards.
KOSHER
The Madre de Deus (BA) unit has Kosher certification granted by the B.D.Z. CHAREIDIM Institution, which ensures that the Paraffin intended for the Food Industry complies with the requirements of the Torah, Jewish law.
SASMAQ
Vitrasa has SASSMAQ (Health, Safety, Environment and Quality Assessment System) certification for road transport since 2015. In this way, it assures customers that their items will be handled safely, with quality and in compliance with legislation.
Halal
The unit in Madre de Deus (BA) is Halal certified by the FAMBRAS Institution, which ensures that the Paraffin intended for the Food Industry complies with the requirements of the Quran, the sacred book of Muslims.
ECOVADIS
Since 2014, Brasceras has been awarded in the Sustainability category by the International Institution EcoVadis.
Each year, around 750 companies from different countries are assessed in areas such as environmental practices, labor practices, human rights, ethics, and sustainability.
Brasceras has consistently achieved a score higher than 65% of the evaluated companies, earning the Bronze Medal in the Global Sustainability Ranking.

Implementation of Selective Collection at the Paraíba do Sul - RJ and Madre de Deus - BA factories.
Participation in GPMAI - Group of Environmental Professionals from Vale do Paraíba Industries, which acts as a forum for discussions and exchange of information in the field of environmental issues, within the scope of industry - RJ.
Reuse of 100% of the water from the emulsion process - Paraíba do Sul - RJ unit .

5S
A methodology of Japanese origin for the organization of any environment, especially work environments, with the aim of making the space more useful.
ISO 14001
An environmental management system that allows all organizations to develop sustainable practices in their businesses, products and services.
HACCP
A specific quality requirement of the food industry that aims to guarantee, effectiveness and efficacy in controlling hazards to food production.
GMP
Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) are precautions and measures that must be taken when manufacturing products that make up a set of principles and rules for their correct handling, ranging from raw materials to the final product.
Lean Manufacturing
Also called the Toyota Production System, it is a management philosophy focused on reducing the seven types of waste (overproduction, waiting time, transportation, over-processing, inventory, movement and defects).
VDA 6.3
A quality system requirement specific to the German auto industry, used for audits of manufacturing processes. It proposes that the processes and their interfaces should be analyzed in such a way that their risks and weaknesses are identified.
